The Meridian Psychotherapy including EFT has been a powerful healing therapy and I am looking for other practitioners who would like to participate in conducting workshops to educate people on the benefits of this particular therapy. I have had great success with treating phobias, such as fear of flying and also treating an alcohol addiction problem. I am currently working with a woman who has an eating disorder. Also have worked with a woman who suffered with pelvic and lower back pain for years and after a few sessions no longer suffers with the pain.

When I look back at how this all began it seems like a dream. I was living in the United States and working a 9:00 to 5:00 job at an insurance company in which I had been employed with for 18 years. The last few years had been challenging as I had found that I had developed Fibromyalgia. At first I had no clue as to what was happening with me. I became depressed and there were days when I wondered just how I would make it to work. After going to several physicians and being told that basically all they could do was give me anti-depressants and pain pills, I became fed up and thought there must be a better way. I refused to become a zombie by taking all the drugs

That was not for me. So I began the journey of self-discovery and awareness into who I really was and where I was supposed to be going in my life. No sooner than I decided to take a more spiritual and holistic approach to this health issue than things began to turn around for me. I did not seek out alternative therapists, however. Instead I started meditating and working with Angels and Spirit Guides.  As I did this I became more focused, calm and began to instil a sense of peace and well-being from within. I had no desire for the current career I was working at and began looking for other avenues to focus my attention on.

This is when I met my Soulmate and ultimately moved to England. Now I know this sounds like a ‘fairytale’ but it is far from that. No sooner did I get to England than I became very, very ill, depressed and the Fibromyalgia came back. I was living in a converted 13th century church, filled with dampness, mould, spiders, dust and my husband and I were going to renovate it and make it our home. I missed my daughters and grandchildren, I sold my own home in the States, I left a career of 18 years, sold every one of my possessions because it was too expensive to ship to England, I left my own country to start over in a new country, new culture, had no network of friends over here, and basically no job and was left alone in the church everyday while my husband went to work. I was completely lost!

I had become ill and the illness kept me in bed.  I was reading through the newspaper one day when out of the blue I saw an advert for Reiki. I called that very day and insisted that they get me into the classes right away. Within two weeks I was in the Reiki class, passed Level I, Level Two and became a Reiki Master within 6 month period of time. I started my practice and workshops teaching others this amazing therapy, but it just did not seem like enough.  There was more I felt I should be learning and I felt that I needed to perfect my skills in different ways. One of my clients mentioned she was taking courses with The School of Natural Health Sciences. She gave me the information and I signed up that very day. I have obtained skills and knowledge through the school that have far exceeded my expectations. Through obtaining my diplomas I have confidence to build my practice knowing that it will be a success. When I help others, I help myself. Bringing joy to others and seeing them take back their health and well-being is a blessing.
