I began my journey in 1996 and travelled the world for 5 years. During that time I experienced a wonderful enthusiasm for life, compassion for those around me, and was able to develop acute intuitive insight and perceptiveness.
At some point into the millennium, I became lost to these qualities that once defined me. However, in 2007, I began researching complementary therapies to guide and help me in finding my true potential, battle illness and find a harmonious balance.
This led to me travelling again, and finding myself on a health retreat in the middle of the rainforest, in near solitary confinement! It was here that I was able to fully regain my passion for life and empowerment, which ultimately led me to train in Colour Therapy and Aura-Soma, and dedicate myself to an on-going interest in colour healing. I have never looked back and now see everything in “colour”.
My fundamental aim is a willingness to help people discover and use their full potential for self healing, their creative powers for personal growth, to find a peaceful balance in their lives, and ultimately to share in the many ways in which colour can be utilised.
I qualified as a Colour Therapist in May 2009, with The School of Natural Health Sciences, a multifaceted holistic therapy training organization. Never one to stop learning, I still research and study various complementary and alternative therapies, and hope to continue to teach the way forward.
In March 2010, I opened my own Colour and Light Therapy business in Hertfordshire, England, and “Chakras in Colour” was born. I provide various holistic treatments using light and colour to release blockages of energy, bring about physical and emotional changes, and restore the body to full health. I am now a Practitioner Member of The International Wheel of Colour (IWOC) and a Member of The Complementary Therapists Association (CThA).
