Hello, my name is Michelle de Boer and I am a Registered Massage Therapist in Ontario, Canada. My interest in Massage Therapy came when I received my first professional massage at the age of 17 and realized that I wanted to be the person that took everyone's stress away.
I've been treating people for various conditions for a few years now. My practice began at home and now I have my own on-site Massage Therapy business!
I am truly happy I found the website for the School of Natural Health Sciences. After endless searches on Google for a home-study Aromatherapy course, I finally landed on this school, located all the way in England! The SNHS courses were perfect for me because I already have a health background and I was looking for information on Aromatherapy to use in my practice, to enhance the treatment plans for my clients.
My clients are very appreciative of the benefits of the specific Essential Oils which I incorporate into their treatment plans, and I am very glad that I can provide them this additional option. I found the course to be very informative and the staff were very helpful with my questions. I was surprised that they provided a chance to answer questions [since I wrongly assumed home study courses weren't really graded].
I have taken two courses from the School of Natural Health Sciences, Aromatherapy and Acupressure and am really happy about the outcome of taking these courses. I am confident in using my attained knowledge in my practice and therefore I'm confident to leave my story for future prospective students :-)
