My interest in holistic therapies now spans over 30 years.
I discovered the SNHS through a friend, when training to become a Reiki Master, while living in the UK. I decided it was time to gain more recognised qualifications in the therapies I had always loved. It gave me the opportunity to leave the corporate world and enabled me to set up my own therapies practice, something I had dreamed of forever.
And so it began. I completed a diploma in Colour Therapy followed by Aromatherapy and I continue to study to this day with the school. I’m currently in the midst of completing Shiatsu, Hot Stone Therapy and Life Coaching. I have found the courses not only enjoyable, but flexible as well, allowing me to fit it in with my practice, family and work commitments.
My qualifications allowed me, to firstly set up in Berkshire UK, where I offered clients a combination of therapies including Reiki, Aromatherapy and Colour Therapy. I was able to develop my skills even further and combine them to enhance the treatments I could offer.
Returning to Australia in 2007 I immediately began the process of setting up my therapist practice, where I am now, once again, offering treatments and workshops as well as working as a therapist for one of Brisbane’s busiest Day Spa Retreats.
