I guess you could say that I am not a believer in coincidence. For me, things happen for a reason and my introduction to The School of Natural Health Sciences was just a confirmation that I was destined do go down the holistic healing path. It was something I instinctively knew inside, but wasn't sure why. I had never personally had any sort of complementary health treatment but I sensed, at the ripe old age of 40, that I FINALLY knew what I wanted to be when I grew up!

Having signed up for my first course in Aromatherapy, I totally fell in love with the challenges that it offered. My brain was stimulated and the coursework opened up a lot of new ways of thinking that affected and inspired aspects of my daily life. I went on to take other courses - with just as much gusto and enthusiasm and have thoroughly enjoyed them all.

I have put my diplomas to good use by treating clients in my home and as a mobile therapist. At this time, I am also looking to find a clinic where I can work alongside other like minded therapists

It has been my personal "mission" to make complementary therapies accessible to everyone who seeks them. Feeling good shouldn't have to cost the earth or be carried out in a spa-type setting. Which is why I make it affordable for all those who need it most, the young mums, the stressed professionals, the old age pensioners, and students, basically those who could use some "me" time, for de-stressing and relaxation.

Of all the therapies that I carry out, I really enjoy doing reflexology the most. I've had clients come in for treatments because of painful conditions, then see them totally free of pain the following day/weeks - with glowing compliments of how the reflexology session(s) did it for them. It's a fantastic feeling to help someone in such a natural way, by way of touch.

I am currently working on SNHS courses in Iridology, Kinesiology, Colour & Crystal Therapies and hope to round it off with a course in Nutrition. Having completed so many courses, it is amazing to see how the different fields of study interrelate with each other in promoting wellness. It makes me want to expand my knowledge just that much deeper, to understand them all.
