I had just found out that all I owned and worked for for 30 years had been taken away from me via a friend and business partner I had known for 10 years, by means of fraud. I had owned a hotel, restaurant and even properties in UK, then moved to the US. I had been a millionaire, but 4 years later no more. I had nothing. Nothing left at all except for the little I had placed in a savings account for my daughter.  Life for me had ended. I was of an age (60) when my mind was going to succumb to believing that that there was no point in going forward, moving on, trying again, let alone finding a new career path.

I felt very sorry for myself and could not see any light at all in my life, just darkness. The pain of not only losing everything I had worked for 30 years which was for my retirement, but also losing the friend which I believed I had, which obviously was never the case, was devastating.  I had been in an abusive relationship in the USA and had just divorced when this was found out. Wishing to make a new start with a new life, but how now with hardly any funds what was I going to do? I had decided that giving up on myself meant giving up on life and I still was not prepared to do that as yet.  So I bought a computer of my own and searched for anything which would 'perk me up' and enable me to start again in any direction at all.

I searched and searched and eventually found a school which offered courses by distance learning, which for me was ideal since the trauma would from time to time show and lead me to tears. When I found this school (SNHS Ltd) I knew I had found exactly what I had been searching for. I felt that these courses would not only be beneficial to whoever would become my future clients, but also to myself.

I then chose my courses and found that they were informative and very easy to comprehend and follow through to become a practicing Stress Management Consultant.  I use this with my Senior Fitness Training and also now with my Hypnotherapy which I also learnt from The School of Natural Health Sciences. Through my Hypnotherapy qualifications with the School I was accepted into membership by The Professional Hypnotherapy Practitioner Association (PHPA) and the National College of Holistic Medicine (NCHM).

Now I am progressing with other courses through the school such as Life Coaching and Colour Therapy and since learning is an never ending process I will be continuing my education and learning with SNHS.  I have so much to be thankful for, The School of Natural Health Sciences has enabled me to find and prove that at any time, any age, anyone can begin a New Career.

Challenging it may be but with the guidance from the School, I firmly believe that it is within anybody's power to do so, no matter what circumstances have occurred previously.
