| When I first started studying crystals I could never keep any rose quartz that I purchased, because every time I encountered someone who was sad or heart-sore, I would know instinctively that the crystal wanted to be given to them. It’s a strange thing to say, I am sure you are thinking. I would have constant ideas and thoughts, sometimes over a period of days, that I should be giving this crystal to this person or that one, and the thoughts would continue until I had done so. Not just once, this continued until I was buying crystals for every one I knew, and even those I didn’t know so well. I’d be knocking on people’s doors apologetically and saying “I’m really sorry, I hope you don’t mind or think I am too weird, but I really need to give this crystal to you.” I would then explain a little about what the crystal was for, and the person would be shocked as it was absolutely relevant to what they were going through. Where did this information or idea come from? I would never be so egotistical to assume that the information came from me – I was guided and the guidance helped someone else. I decided then, wouldn’t it be great to buy my crystals at a wholesale price seeing as I was spending all my money buying people crystals that I felt they needed, and so White Feather Earth Shop was born. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| We live in a scientific world in the West that has left vast quantities of esoteric knowledge out of the equation and has written many ancient traditions and beliefs off as pure superstition. Crystals are surrounded by mystery and legends but strangely enough science is catching up slowly, and all of a sudden we are being able to prove some of the qualities within the minerals that give rise to their healing properties. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| I had a wonderful experience with a lady who came to me for a crystal that would help fertility. My first thought was Rose Quartz which is the traditional fertility stone, but because she already had Rose Quartz, she wanted something else to compliment it. While I consulted my directory, she was drawn to carnelian; the vibrant orange colour and energy radiating from the tumbled stones encouraged her to pick a few pieces. In fact she HAD to have them, so was her conviction and enthusiasm for these crystals. Being a great believer in our own intuition, I wondered what it was about Carnelian that attracted her, and when I glanced through the healing properties, the first one that jumped out at me was fertility! This is an example to show you that you already know exactly what you need and your intuition will absolutely guide you to picking what it right for you. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Western Medicine has its rightful place, but also tends to be band-aid medicine and does not treat the whole person, only the physical symptoms. When we use holistic therapies in conjunction with western medicine the results are faster healing. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
