| has been a practitioner of counselling and the healing professions for more than twenty years. Her work has covered everything from religious/spiritual counselling to care of Cancer and AIDS patients, holistic healing, Reiki, Oriental Medicine and the various therapist disciplines of Natural Health. From the early age of 13, Batya began volunteer work at her local hospital and gained valuable experience until she entered college. She entered the U.S. Navy after college and part of her additional duties was as an Interdenominational Counsellor for her unit. A few years later Batya began her work with the terminally ill under the first pioneering Hospice organization in the USA. There she worked both in administration and patient care departments, and acted as a liaison for HIV victims in the Hispanic community. |

| In 1995 Bati decided to return to school and add to her knowledge by studying Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). After two consecutive visits to India she became a Reiki Master. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Batya later created a healing centre in Israel in order to provide health care services and practical courses and seminars for patients and clients. In 2004, Bati decided to take more alternative health courses and found a great resource in The School of Natural Health Sciences (SNHS). She has enjoyed many courses as well as the practical experience afforded by practicing the therapies. Bati now lives in Israel, is married and raises five wonderful children. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Batya says: "Since I was young, there has always been a part of me that wished to help and heal another’s pain or suffering. After many years and experiences I can say that the most essential ingredient required as a healer is caring and deep inner conviction. The holistic health field is not regarded as the most profitable but true belief in one’s capabilities and drive will get you far if you have a true interest in helping others or bringing relief to another. I am happy to be part of the SNHS alumni and to share common goals and discoveries.
