| My name is Amanda Rothwell. I am an Equine Body Worker and was finding most of the horses problems where coming from their riders and owners. From the rider being tense and stressed, this causes tension which in turn causes the rider to sit crooked and to also release their emotional issues onto the horses. Through completing the SNHS Professional Relaxation Techniques and the Stress Management I can offer help to the riders and thus also help the horse in other ways alongside the massage and Myofascial Release Therapy work. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| From the courses I am currently studying Psychotherapy and Counselling, Nutrition and Drug and Alcohol Counselling, I will be expanding my clinic into working with children in the field of Equine Assisted Therapy, at the present time I am working with adults in a private clinic setting. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Upon Completion of the above courses combined with the Equine Assisted Therapy qualifications I already hold and the SNHS Child Psychology, I will be offering a complete service to help children as well as adults to overcome behavioural, emotional and communication difficulties. Through the SNHS courses, it has enabled to look at and change my lifestyle to a more holistic way and has also given me the knowledge to expand what I already been doing with horses (offering a complete package) for many years and now offer both services to equine and human alike. |
