PROFESSIONAL SUPERVISION and SUPPORT
Many Professional Bodies expect their members/therapists to undertake ongoing supervisory training.
It may not be sufficient merely to state that the practitioner is being supervised.
The production of a third party document, stating this, is often required.
In view of this current and growing requirement, I will be providing SNHS Hypnotherapy Graduates with supervision, support and advice, as required, by most Professional Bodies.
Supervision will consist of:
(a) face to face discussion or (b) telephone discussion where distance is a problem.
Therapists will be required to give a written submission prior to discussion.
The submission should comprise of:
1. A written statement to the effect; that you are conducting satisfactory pre-therapy assessment, together with a list of questions asked of the client.
2. A description of a typical case, and how you approached the problem, together with the outcome.
3. A description of a difficult case, and how you approached the problem, together with the outcome.
4. A brief outline of your future plans regarding ongoing CPD training.
The fee for this service will be £55.00 for six months, payable in advance. For this fee there will be two written submissions, plus two formal discussion sessions per year.
Cheques are to be made payable to A J Edwards. On receipt of the first cheque, we will have a short discussion in order for me to issue a Certificate stating that you are undertaking ongoing supervision.
This Certificate will be re-issued at six monthly intervals.
